Our first piece of juicy merch is a fine art print created in collaboration with a local, Ottawa-based artist named Emil Mateja. We’ve been admirers of his work for years, and when we finally had content dark enough to match his imagery it was like a match made in heaven. Or… maybe somewhere… warmer…
Emil took the magazine-cutout-ransom-note of pictures I gave him and turned it into this amazing hand-drawn image. We used a local high-end printing shop to translate his ink drawing into fine art prints, using the creamiest of cardstocks and darkest of inks to make all of the meticulous details pop.
